We're proud to share that our founder, Dr. Joyce Weru, will deliver the keynote at The Nonprofit Alliance's Rising Leaders Summit 2026 in Philadelphia on Thursday, October 15.

Her keynote, "The Thermostat Effect: How Steady Leaders Set the Temperature in Times of Uncertainty," looks at how leaders shape the climate around them when things feel anything but steady.

A thermometer reads the room. A thermostat sets it.

Congratulations, Dr. Joyce. We can't wait to share moments from the stage.

Can I recover? Can I lead again? Can I reinvent myself? Can I come back from failure?

Welcome to Beyond Ready, the new podcast from Dr. Joyce Weru, organizational psychologist and founder of Rise Above Consulting Group.

We live in a world obsessed with outcomes: promotions, followers, revenue, awards, titles, success. But nobody talks about what it cost. The sleepless nights. The self-doubt. The difficult conversations. The moments when everything almost fell apart.

For over twenty years, I have sat across from CEOs, founders, nonprofit leaders, executives and entire organizations navigating transformation, and people rebuilding after unimaginable loss. Again and again, and found the same truth: the breakthrough everyone celebrates always begins long before anyone notices.

Beyond Ready uncovers the invisible journey behind extraordinary people, remarkable organizations and the psychology of human transformation. Because we don't just celebrate breakthroughs. We uncover the becoming behind them.

Subscribe now and be here from the very beginning. Your next breakthrough might begin with someone else's story.

👉 Ego is expensive in leadership. Because leadership was never about proving your value.
It’s about creating the conditions where others can bring theirs.
