What is the best printing method for small orders?

Most shops will not. Screen printing has to burn a screen for every colour before the first shirt runs, and there is nowhere to hide that cost on a small order. So under about a dozen pieces we print direct to garment instead. No screens, no setup, no minimum.

Printing cost per shirt, front only, blank garment on top:
1-5 shirts - $21.64 DTG against $30.00 screen. DTG.
6-11 shirts - $17.14 DTG against $30.00 screen. DTG.
12 shirts - $15.64 DTG against $12.00 screen. Screen printing.

Twelve is where it flips, and it is the biggest single price break we have.
