Over the past year, many of our clients have seen significant changes in cybersecurity requirements, technology, and best practices. We recognize that some of those changes have also required additional investment in tools such as endpoint protection, email security, multi-factor authentication, and other safeguards.
Those investments were made for an important reason: the threat landscape has changed dramatically, and the level of protection businesses and government organizations need today is very different from what was considered adequate just a few years ago.
Now Mayer Networks is making an additional investment of our own.
We are excited to announce that Jace Brossart has joined Mayer Networks to lead our Cloud and Cybersecurity division.
Jace will have dedicated responsibility for the technologies and security systems that protect our clients, including:
Microsoft 365 and cloud security
SentinelOne endpoint protection
SentinelOne Vigilance MDR
Email security, including Avanan
Multi-factor authentication and identity security
Cybersecurity policies, standards, and best practices
Coordination with our 24/7 Security Operations Center
One of the most important parts of this expansion is our continued investment in 24/7 cybersecurity monitoring and response.
Through SentinelOne Vigilance, our clients are backed by a Security Operations Center staffed around the clock by cybersecurity professionals who monitor threats, investigate suspicious activity, and respond when necessary. Jace will work directly with these resources while overseeing cybersecurity strategy and implementation for Mayer Networks clients.
In other words, the security technologies we have been deploying are not simply individual products. We are continuing to build the people, processes, monitoring, and expertise around them so they operate together as a comprehensive cybersecurity program.
And importantly, the addition of Jace, the expansion of our cybersecurity team, and the additional oversight we are putting around these systems are investments Mayer Networks is making in the service we provide to our clients. They are not simply another cybersecurity product or additional line item being added to your bill.
For our government clients, we are also beginning the next phase of this effort.
Jace will be helping us develop more formal cybersecurity and compliance programs designed specifically for municipalities, counties, law enforcement agencies, and other public-sector organizations. This will include evaluating recognized cybersecurity frameworks, improving documentation and governance, and helping organizations prepare for security assessments and certifications where appropriate.
We will provide more information about those programs as they are developed.
Cybersecurity will continue to change, and we will continue to evolve with it. Our responsibility is not simply to sell security technology. Our responsibility is to make sure the technology is properly implemented, monitored, managed, and continually improved.
That is the investment Mayer Networks is making now.
