Happy hump day...Even if you’re not sad... put on some lipstick 💄 and tackle the day. In the midst of a pandemic 😷 with masks, my kids distance learning, things closing, things opening, work, assignments due (yup taking this pause to edumecate myself)... sometimes all it takes is hair up and a little lipstick to motivate yourself... What’s your motivation?

Happy New Year! 2021 here we come!

2020 has been a year unlike any others. Filled with change, uncertainty, and challenges but it has also been a year that has allowed us time to reflect, whether we wanted to or not, take a break & a deep breath and has forced us to adjust... to pivot...and hopefully, for most of us, to focus on appreciating the blessings we have been given. The friendships that have kept us together, the new opportunities that have arisen, the family that has helped pull us through, the teachers that have continued to educate our children (from afar), the time to spend with one another, with ourselves & with our beloved pets...

I leave this year grateful! Grateful for the lessons, growth, opportunities, time... Grateful for the sunrises and sunsets that I have been fortunate to see. Grateful for the individuals that have crossed my path... especially grateful for the time with those I love ❤️ my daughters, my husband, my parents, my in laws (who are not like in-laws but are family), my dear friends and for the family that I didn’t get to see but were always a WhatsApp away.

We do not know exactly what the future of 2021 has in store but whatever it is I wish each of you a year filled with gratitude, love, happiness, prosperity, and health!
