✅ 2026/27 Grievance Season is Officially Over! ✅

A big THANK YOU to everyone who trusted me to handle your Nassau County property tax grievance this year! 🙌

All clients should have just received an email with important info about what happens next — so please check your inbox (and your spam folder, just in case 📬).

Now comes the waiting game! 🕰️ ARC will be reviewing all submitted grievances over the next several months. Be sure to monitor your email this summer for any updates — some decisions may come as early as late June, while others might take until December.

As always, I’ll be here if you have questions or need help understanding your results when they come in. In the meantime, it’s time for me to rest and enjoy the "off season." 😌 Thanks again for your trust and support!

🔑 Remember, grieving your assessment annually is essential! New York State law ensures your assessment won’t increase due to a grievance, so there’s no risk involved.

If you’d like help filing your grievance for a flat fee of $250, simply fill out this form: https://forms.gle/Wp512qW7fFbPJdtd9 While I can’t guarantee a reduction, I can assure you that I’ll put the same level of effort into your grievance as I do my own. Over the years, my efforts have led to significant reductions for my clients, with some reductions exceeding 20%.

To view your bill, head over to MyNassauProperty.com, enter your address, and click on the "General and School Taxes" tab, then the "General Taxes" subtab. 📅 Today is October 1st, which means your 2024/2025 school tax bill is now available!

To view your bill, visit MyNassauProperty.com, enter your address, and click on the "General and School Taxes" tab. The default year should be "2025" (referring to the 2024/25 tax year). You can also compare this year’s bill to last year’s by selecting "2024."

💡 Important Note: Even if you received an assessment reduction through a grievance, it doesn't automatically mean a lower tax bill. It simply means you're paying less than you would have without the grievance. Several factors influence the school tax rate, including school budgets, exemptions, and the number of successful grievances in your district.

I'm thrilled to share the news of a new personal record. I was able to get a client a remarkable 26.66% reduction in assessed value this week for the 2024/25 tax year. This will translate to approximately $7,000 in savings on school taxes next year—not a bad return on a $250 investment!

As of today, October 2, 2023, school tax bills for the 2023/2024 tax year have been posted on MyNassauProperty.com. The grievance that impacted this bill would have been filed in early 2022. It's important to note that the grievance filed earlier this year won't reflect on your tax bill until a year from now on October 1, 2024!

Remember, an assessment reduction doesn't necessarily translate to a tax reduction; it means you'll pay less than if you didn't grieve it at all.

Also, I'm now accepting clients for the 2025/26 grievance period. These grievances will be filed early in 2024 and will affect the bills issued on October 1, 2025. And that's a wrap! Another grievance season is in the books!

Thank you to all my clients for putting your trust in me to file your Nassau County Property Tax Assessment Grievances for the 2024/25 tax year! All Clients should have received an email this morning explaining the next steps in the process.

Believe it or not, in just 5 short months, I can start accepting clients for 2025/26 grievances...but let's not rush the summer!
