Welcome and Thank you for being here! I started Smiths Bubble Pups in 2018 when my husband and I decided it just didn’t fit our family for me to work in the corporate grooming world anymore. After having my third child in 2017 I decided to start grooming from home. A decision that started in the dining room and ended up in our very own home complete with salon in ba
sement. I consider myself to be very blessed to serve all of the pups I’ve come to know and love. I have a gentle and calm approach to grooming, even earning the trust of the dogs that truly hated the experience. I know that your pup and I will become fast friends, and they may even learn a thing or two along the way. If you have any questions at all please please don’t hesitate to reach out! I take great pride in my ability to tailor each grooming experience to each pet. I do not currently have the ability to accept walk-ins. Appointments are required for any and all services.

-Upon Arrival I ask that you stay in your vehicle and text that you’re here. I’ll meet you in the driveway and we will go over a few different things just to ensure that both you and I are on the same page about expectations for the grooming experience. Skin/coat Check
Ask questions about groom expectations i.e Cut style, cut Length, basic do’s and don’t list

After you are comfortable and we have said our good bye’s the real work begins! These are the steps I follow each time your pet comes in. Based on grooming instructions. If getting shaved or coat is without matting a pre cut may be needed. Shave pads
Shave sanitary areas
Clean ears
Trim and grind nails
At this point I will have decided the shampoo and conditioner would benefit your pet the best and we head to the tub. (You’re welcome to provide any products you would like used I will return any unused product on pick up)
During your pets bath, they are given a thorough deep scrub to stimulate follicles in their skin and promote healthy hair growth. They get a double rinse each time before a deep coat conditioner is applied. Their coat is then dried by hand. Coat is again brushed thoroughly then styled according to previous notes.
*At SBP I don’t use any cages at any point during the grooming process. If you want your dog to be crated during the groom at any point you will need to provide the cage. It will be returned to you at the end of your pets groom.*

APPOINTMENT CANCELLATION POLICY
In an attempt to serve you better I would like to institute a new cancellation/rescheduling policy. As I know I have not been the most reliable with everything the last few years has thrown at us I promise to you that if for any reason I need to reschedule I will give you 48 hours notice, for you guys I hope that you could do the same. It is never a problem, as I understand as well as anyone that things happen. In cases of emergency leniency is a given. For a no call no show to an appointment if there are more than 2 in a 12 month span a deposit will be required to schedule the next appointment which will be held and applied toward the cost of the groom. As a way to hold myself accountable if I have to short notice (less than 48 hrs) reschedule you more than twice in a 12 month span your next groom will be 25% off. HOURS AND OPERATIONS
In an effort to better balance my work and personal life, I have decided that set hours and days of operation are going to be vital going forward. While I understand that this may be a little inconvenient for everyone please understand that yes I work from home, but that doesn’t mean that I have to keep myself available 24/7. Know that I will always try to be as flexible as I can be, I just need to be able to keep up with everything else as well. Monday: CLOSED
