Good Ol Gals We are a women's businesses connections organization that meets monthly with no annual dues.

GOGs introduced the unique format of our meetings which is a bit different than what we've experienced at most leads and networking groups. (Other groups may copy our design, and it's said that imitation is the sheerest form of flattery!)

Each person introduces themselves with ONLY a 3-liner (name, business name, and byline). Afterwards, "Celebrate Success" gives you more face time when you publicly thank another Gal who has given you a referral or life-support in some manner. At the end of the meeting, we do "Shout Outs" to let everyone know of local opportunities, events, or special offers.

Over the years, we've heard things...

Really great things...

Things about what a difference GOGs has made in the lives of and ...

Things about what a different experience GOGs is...

Things like...

“We do business AND have fun... what a refreshing concept!”

"From day one, I felt like I was welcome and that I could just be ME!”

“I feel seen for who I am, not just what I do. Yes, I get business and referrals, but I’ve also made lasting friendships.”

“This didn’t feel ‘fake’ - AT ALL! Everyone was so ‘real’... it was so easy to make genuine connections!”

“My first time I was like... ‘Okaayyy, this IS different... I get it now!’ I love it and look forward to it every month!”

“After every event, I feel inspired - from the presentations, from the people, and from the high-energy vibe.”

“Never a dull moment! The time just flew by! I had multiple opportunities to be visible even though it was my first time!

CONFESSION --> DISCUSSION Yes, i use AI. Do you? How often and for what? Have you found yourself starting to THINK like it?! Or asking it to think FOR YOU?

All these questions running through my head got me. Also thinking that this would be a great topic of conversation for our 1st Monday Coffee Confab!

So AI Vs AI: Autonomous vs Artificial is going to be our kickoff discussion topic!

We will, of course, talk about how things are going with each of us, what challenges we may be facing and celebrate wins as well!

See link in bio to secure your seat in the zoom room!

When I asked Ka'Nita of Let's Gather and Toast what the vibe would be at the GOGs "bonus round", she said, "Let's be human. Let's turn it off."

She also said, “I BELIEVE HOSPITALITY HEALS THE PLANET.” 🥂
Ka’Nita Glover left a corporate career for hospitality.
Her family was thrilled. 😂

But Ka’Nita saw something bigger than drinks and events. Every culture has ways of making people feel welcome. Birthdays happen. People fall in love. Families gather through joyful moments and hard ones.

Her business, Gather & Toast, lives in those moments.

GIRLIE GARAGE ISN’T JUST ABOUT FIXING CARS. 🚗

Talena Handley started Girlie Garage as a mobile mechanic during COVID after seeing friends get seriously taken advantage of.

But when I asked for her why, she shared her personal why… she went much deeper. At about 14, Talena decided her purpose was to make some kind of tiny positive impact in other people’s lives. A smile. A hello. Helping somebody. That is what still drives her.

Today Girlie Garage empowers “littles and bigs” through hands-on automotive education so people can understand their vehicles, ask better questions and find the good guys in the industry.

Also, if Talena ever runs a GOGs presentation... apparently we’re all going to the parking lot. 😂

3 Minutes. 3 Questions. 3 Crazy Faves.
