Building performance standards (BPS) are a growing policy tool used by cities and states to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from existing buildings by requiring them to meet energy or emissions targets over time. These standards are rapidly expanding across the U.S. as jurisdictions take action to decarbonize the built environment.

Verdani helps clients stay ahead by actively monitoring BPS policies and delivering customized analysis reports that clearly outline compliance status at both the asset and portfolio levels. The team at Verdani is excited to share that our office recently received the LEED v4.1 O+M Interiors Gold Certification!

Undergoing the continuous LEED process demonstrates that our office is more resource efficient and cost effective than typical office buildings. We are proud to be the first LEED certification in this category in all of California for the last two years and one of only 30 projects to hold this certification across the entire U.S.*

This accomplishment underscores the acumen of our Certifications team and their skill in navigating the many building certification frameworks. A special thank you to Michael Kloha and Viveka Biryani for leading the efforts to achieve this certification.
