The original order was all adult sizes.
There was just one problem.
The event was for kids.
It was a community event where kids could climb into real heavy equipment and get behind the controls. The organizers had always ordered adult tees for the volunteers.
So we asked:
Who is the shirt really for?
The kids.
They’re the ones who will wear it to school on Monday. They’ll wear it all summer. They might even pass it down when they outgrow it.
So we flipped the order.
More youth sizes. Fewer adult sizes for the crew. Safety orange across the board so the kids were easier to spot around the crowd and equipment.
Sometimes the best thing we can do is ask one more question before placing the order.
The problem wasn’t the shirt.

“Why does the cap cost different than the polo? It’s the same logo.”
Fair question.
Our question back: Where do you want the logo on the cap?
Front and center? Right over the seam?
That changes things.
A cap is curved, structured and has a seam running directly through the middle. The logo has to be prepared and embroidered specifically for that surface so it stays straight, clean and doesn’t pucker.
Then every cap gets finished by hand—loose threads trimmed, tails cleaned up and everything checked before it goes out the door.
