Most entrepreneurs think they have a marketing problem.
They usually don’t.
They have a clarity problem.
I see this constantly when working with founders.
Their LinkedIn posts sound impressive.
Strategic. Polished. Professional.
But nobody knows what they actually do.
You’ll see things like:
• “Helping businesses scale their impact.”
• “Driving transformation through innovation.”
• “Empowering leaders with next-generation strategy.”
It sounds smart.
It also means nothing.
Marketing works when someone reads one sentence and thinks:
“That’s exactly the problem I have.”
The moment that happens, everything changes.
Sales conversations get easier.
Content starts working.
Referrals increase.
The simplest framework I know is this:
We help [WHO] solve [SPECIFIC PROBLEM] so they can [RESULT].
Example:
Instead of:
“I help companies grow.”
Try:
“We help 20–50 person companies turn LinkedIn into a consistent source of inbound leads.”
Now the right people recognize themselves immediately.
Clarity isn’t about dumbing things down.
It’s leadership.
