People have been asking about a rumor that PROJECT M might be adding another red wine to the lineup.
While we cannot confirm that claim, we want everyone to know that if we did make a red wine other than Pinot Noir, it would be a Blend.

It wouldn't be a Rhône-based blend (Jerry scratches that itch with Long Walk Vineyards Field Notes and Field of Stars).

Nor would it be a Bordeaux-style blend (does the world need another one?). It certainly wouldn't be some random collection of red grapes thrown together as a field blend just because "we can".

If we are going to do something, we need to be inspired. Stay tuned to see if the Muse strikes.

We were packing up the Subaru and headed to Portland! We're always thrilled to join Jack at the Backcountry Wine Tasting Room. Add pizza (by Portland Pizza Party), and it'll take a damn earthquake to keep us away.
We'll bring some of our acclaimed Pinot Noirs, along with our refreshing 2025 White Wines: Astria Pinot Blanc and Schlussel Riesling.

PROJECT M Winemaker Jerry D. Murray has been making Rosé for a long time. He remembers when:
-Willamette Valley Wineries only made it in Rainy Years.
-When everyone assumed it was sweet.
-When Wine Shops couldn't sell it.
Many things about Rosé have changed, but Jerry's objective has not. Each year is another opportunity to iterate toward an "Infinately Drinkable Wine".

We'll be pouring our 2024 Acclara Sparkling Rosé at the Drink Pink Rosé Festival on August 1st at Furioso Vineyard.
There will be 10 other wineries pouring both still and Sparkling Rosés giving you ample opportunity to realize we are right!
