I am excited to announce that Direct Impact Partnership is working with the City of Greenwood and Aspire Economic Development & Chamber Alliance in Johnson County to survey Greenwood residents about their post Covid-19 work-from-home plans.
One national survey shows that 35% of at-home workers say they would take a lower-paying job just to continue working from home once the pandemic ends. And we've all seen reports about businesses and corporations dramatically downsizing their office space to save money. This means that daytime populations are changing as fewer people commute to work, and the economic development world is taking note.
The results of this survey will be used by commercial real estate developers, the Mayor's office, broadband providers, public safety officials and others as they look ahead over the next 3-5 years and plan for a growing number of people who access their services during the day. What will be the long term impact of a growing work-from-home workforce? We'll find out!
If you want to grow your organization, communicate your message or execute a project that you can't get done with current staff or financial resources, Direct Impact Partnerships is ready to help. Visit us at directimpactpartnerships.com for more information.
