Today, we pause to honor the life and service of Town Marshal Fisher of the Town of Lynn, Indiana.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, fellow officers, and the entire Lynn community during this incredibly difficult time. We are grateful for his commitment to serving and protecting others, and we remember the sacrifices made by those who wear the badge.

One of the biggest school evacuation planning mistakes isn't how people evacuate. It's where they go afterward.

Too often we find that are confusing outdoor rally points with indoor walking-distance evacuation sites. They serve different purposes, and confusing them can create unnecessary challenges during a real emergency.
