I choose to rise! That's why my business has survived for 28 years, through two major recessions and a pandemic. I created my business in the beginning to be nimble and agile based on wisdom I received when I was forming my company from one of the smartest women I know, Anita Macias. She built a highly successful agency that soared nationally for almost 2 decades and then lost it during the recession of 1991. Her advice of what to do and what not to do has served me well and still does. There is nothing like great business wisdom and the humility to understand and accept the wisdom that has been imparted to you. And, hopefully, the grace to pay it forward.
