Yesterday after Tucker finished his test, I caught myself comparing him to Rip. I asked how he stacked up… and a wise man stopped me in my tracks:
“He’s fine, he’s perfect. Don’t compare him—let him be himself.”

That hit deeper than I expected.

Aaron and I have gotten so used to Rip and his style that I don’t think we’ve given Tucker the credit he deserves—or the same opportunities. We all know Rip is a badass, and a lot of our clients ask for him, but that’s meant Tucker hasn’t had nearly as much time on the line.

That changes this year.

Rip ran hard for us last season and he’s earned a break occasionally. And Tucker? He’s more than ready. He deserves the chance to get in the woods, do his thing, and make a name for himself.

We’re heading into this season with the dream team—and we’re excited to see Tucker shine!

Our boys did it! 🐾

We took Rip and Tucker to get ABTA tested today and they absolutely crushed it. Both passed their started test with ease, and Rip went on to pass his seasoned test too! 💪

We’re holding off on Tucker’s seasoned test for now, but it’s definitely coming soon.

So proud of these boys and how far they’ve come! ❤️

Incredibly thankful for the opportunity to speak at Bethel Baptist for their Wild Game Dinner this evening.

Thank you, Pastor Bryan, for having us—it truly meant a lot. We enjoyed the fellowship and the chance to share and go over tracking with such a great community.

We’re going to have to put a lot of time into River to get her confident with tracking. She definitely has the drive, but she’s been so skittish of everything since the day we got her. She really only trusts us—her people.

I know she has the potential, so today we took Tucker out with her to try to show her how fun it can be. She did track for us and got so close, but then came back to check in. It’s going to take time, patience, and confidence building, but I truly believe she’ll get there. We sure do love working with them!
