Content planning can be a super difficult task if you don't have a set schedule that works for you. It's all about trial and error, but the first step to this is sitting down weekly to plan.
No, this doesn't mean planning, creating, editing, and scheduling your content all in one sitting. If that works for you, by all means do that! What i'm saying is that you can break it up. Take a few hours on Mondays to plan out your themes for the following week and write captions. Then maybe take a few hours on Tuesday to create the content, and so forth.
The next most importance piece to content planning is checking your analytics. Again, when you're just getting started this part is all trial and error. Have you ever heard someone ask, "When is the best time for me to post on __(social)__?" Well, the real answer is it's all in YOUR analytics. Post at random times, but after a month of doing that, go back and see which posts were more successful and what time they were posted. From here, create your strategy.
Lastly, batching your content is a life saver. You don't need to post 10 times a day to be recognized, you just need to be consistent. Post as much as you can, as long as you're consistent. If that's three times a week, then that's great! You should batch your content so that you have enough in your drafts for at least one post a day. This way in case you're ever in a stump, you have backup!
