Late last year, artist Adam Faber came to us with a home recorded album from years ago, and told us the mixes from his lo-fi passion project weren’t quite right. After mastering, the songs both embraced what they were and at the same time, became a whole new energetic romp of rock and sonic chaos, (in the best kind of way). Check out his record “Stories” in the regular streaming places. It’s a fun one.

Here’s a fun record with another badass session band that we got to record, mix and master this year by .allen.nc featuring amazing guitar work by keys by by and drums by .maker2000. Recorded by Kei Mizobuchi and Chris Wimberley.Jeff created some great narrative snapshots in these songs that were funny, sad, sometimes brutal but always colorful, raw recordings that are full of character. Plenty of rough edges and amazing musicianship. At times it reminds me of our work with on his record. Check it out in all the usual places! Fav tracks are “surrendering” and “parakeet” the latter featuring (Libby Rodenbough) from Proud of this project!

A couple months back we had a great session with for her now available first EP release! Fantastic session band involved in bringing these songs to life including and .maker2000 . Well, here’s our big news: If you don’t know already, the Nightsound crew are the house engineers at Manifold Recording! For the last year we’ve been familiarizing, re-organizing, experimenting, maintaining, and recording at what we believe is one of the most amazing acoustic facilities ever designed and built for audio production. Between Nightsound and Manifold, we’re honored to be able to work with such wide range of audio projects in both facilities, at whichever one is right for your project. We’re excited and looking forward to a great sounding 2023!
