2026 Texas Vietnam Veterans Luncheon- The Chamber Office would like to thank the following for being part of this annual event to honor our Vietnam Veterans. Invocation and Meal Prayer by Pastor John Work, First Baptist Church-Big Wells, and National Anthem by Retired Air Force Sgt. Mary Henrichson. Dimmit County Officials for use of the conference center and Carrizo Springs Voluntary Fire Dept. for ladder truck to display the flags. Dimmit County Judge Martha Ponce was unable to attend due to another obligation but her staff attended in her behalf. The ceremony included the story of Vietnam Veteran and Medal of Honor recipient Roy Benavidez from Lindau and tribute was given to two local Vietnam Veterans who have recently passed away, Roberto Navarro from Asherton ( his wife Lupita was in attendance) and Francisco Garcia from La Pryor. The Chamber Office is thankful to the men and women who faithfully served our country. May God bless them and their families.
