*If you prepay a refund will be given to the painter for a spot at another event
or party for free if applicable and of equal value.
*Private parties require 6+ Painters.
*5 or less Painters prices will be rated accordingly.
*Local parties are within a 20 mile radius.
*Parties outside of the local area must have a minimum of 15 Painters plus a

Day 3 of Jeri's Signs & Creative Creations last Summer "Paint, Giggle & Create" Art Camp at the Carroll County Area YMCA ended Thursday with a "Pop"! Linda Feitz and I, Jeri Burger, our young art assistant, Brynberlyn along with 15 talented and creative kiddos finished the day with lots of giggles and grins. Jeff Koons became great inspirations for these young artists this week.

Our final project was creating a kinetic sculpture. Using only an eight inch 2" x 4", wire and beads to bring their sculpture to life. Each child learned to troubleshoot. With the look of determination, they were able to make their kinetic parts of the sculpture balance. Then adding their own unique painting style, they made a plain piece of wood look unique to support their kinetic addition.

The kiddos also created small sculptures out of magic modeling clay to finish their day off.

Once again, the YMCA furnished lunch and the Senior Center offered the kiddos strawberry cake to enjoy for an afternoon snack.

This week was so much fun. Can't wait till next year to "Paint, Giggle & Create" with these kiddos. ❤️

Day 2 of Jeri's Signs & Creative Creations last Summer "Paint, Giggle & Create" "Pop Goes the Sculptures with Jeff Koons" Art Camp at the Carroll County Area YMCA went very smoothly considering we had 15 young artist ranging from 5 to 13 years of age. 😁

Today the kiddos made a standing totem pole of sorts using magic modeling clay, a skewer, beads and little drawings. Each kiddo created a unique sculpture showing their personality. Once completed, they finished their first pool noodle sculpture by painting whatever they wanted on the surface. These turned out awesome.

Tomorrow will be our last day for our summer art camp, and they will be finishing their last project, which will be a kinetic sculpture. Stay tuned to see how these will come to be.

Jeri's Signs & Creative Creations last Summer "Paint, Giggle & Create" Art Camp at the Carroll County Area YMCA began Tuesday Aug. 11th. Linda Feitz and I, Jeri Burger along with our young art assistant, Brynberlyn had 15 kiddos join us for the camp this week.

The kiddos are enjoying "Pop Goes the Sculptures with Jeff Koons". As always, our art camps featured a well-known artists.

Jeff Koons is one of the most prominent artists working today. He is known for challenging the limitations of fabrication while transforming everyday images and objects into works of art that engage the viewer in a dialogue with the time in which we live and our historical past. For four decades, Koons has created works that explore themes of self-acceptance and transcendence.

Day 1 these young artist learned about Koons background, his art process and his goal for his works of art.

The first project the kiddos used pool noodles to twist and form into their own 3D design to create a sculpture. They then added plaster strips to help hold their sculpture shape. When dry they will use their colorful imagination to to bring their sculpture to life.

With extra time in the afternoon the kids prepped for their next two sculpture projects.

Day 3 & final day of the Carroll County Area YMCA & Jeri's Signs & Creative Creations "Paint, Giggle & Create" Art Camp: Pixels & Minecraft with Markus “Notch” Persson ended with a slimy finish this Thursday.

They worked hard to finish up their Minecraft block sword and 3D block Tulip. The YMCA provided our lunch, chicken nuggets, fries, fruit cup and chocolate milk.

After lunch the kiddos got back to creating, and then we took a 15 min. break to sing Happy Birthday to our always smiling Zachary who turned 10 years old. He shared cupcakes with us, which were very yummy.

Then it was Creeper Slime Time our final project. The kids had so much fun mixing the ingredients to get their Creeper slime just right.

The day went by so fast we had to get permission from the parents to stay an extra 30 mins. 😎😆 Thanks to the parents for enrolling their kiddos with us. They were all sweet, smiling, funny and creative artists. ❤️

Day 2 of Carroll County Area YMCA & Jeri's Signs & Creative Creations "Paint, Giggle & Create" Art Camp: Pixels & Minecraft with Markus “Notch” Persson went splendidly.

Today the kiddos worked on their 3D block Minecraft swords and standing tulip. Each student counted out their blocks for each project, and painted the blocks to match their templates. When the blocks were dry they began gluing each block together to match their pattern. With the help of our helper, Brynberlyn, the kiddos enjoyed some music while painting.

For lunch today the YMCA provided us with some yummy food from Mulch's. We had fried chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, peach cup and a roll along with chocolate milk. Yum! Yum!

Tomorrow will be our last day of Art Camp with Notch Persson "Pixels & Minecraft". We will also be celebrating a students birthday. This will end up being a special day fur all. I can't wait!

GUESS WHAT WE ARE DOING?

Carroll County Area YMCA & Jeri's Signs & Creative Creations "Paint, Giggle & Create" Art Camp: Pixels & Minecraft with Markus “Notch” Persson is finially here.

We are having fun today creating Minecraft characters on our take home tote bags and our stretched canvases. With the help of my new helper, Brynberlyn, we are incorporating Persson's ideas and concepts.
