In legal matters, one side may have brought the receipts. But are they authentic? Screenshots of Screenshots won't cut it. Filenames can lend a clue (but can be changed).... but artifacts recorded behind the scene in the device it came from can solidify it's authenticity...or reveal it's fabrication.

What used to be a simple item can no longer be trusted when a life is on the line or big money is at stake.

This week, I’m volunteering with IACIS in Reno, with a great team sharing mobile forensic knowledge and concepts. Our students are comprised of federal, state, local law enforcement, and defense experts from across the continent. We pride ourselves on digging deeper than what forensic tools can parse and truly understanding the data. This GREATLY IMPACTS every case..instilling confidence along the way.
