Because guys like us bet on ourselves. Take the risk. Skip the paycheck. Work when nobody’s watching.

So when they try and lose, they don’t blame themselves.

They blame the guy who told them it was possible.

It just gives your habits more room to show up.

If you’re disciplined, more money creates options.
If you’re impulsive, more money creates bigger problems.
If you’re unclear, more money creates more confusion.

That’s why wealth isn’t just about income.

It’s about capacity.
It’s about stewardship.
It’s about becoming the type of person who can handle what you’ve been praying for.

Because a raise without discipline is not freedom.
It’s just a bigger version of the same pressure.

Track the money.
Assign the money.
Protect the money.
Multiply the money.

Then when opportunity shows up, you’re not scrambling.
You’re ready.

The goal was never to look rich.

The goal is to become solid enough to build something your family can stand on.

Sales will expose you fast.

Not because sales is bad. Because too many people jump into the wrong game with the wrong expectations.

You want quick money, but you don’t want rejection. You want freedom, but you don’t want responsibility. You want income, but you haven’t built trust.

That’s why the industry matters.

Real estate can be great. Solar can be great. Roofing can be great. Gym memberships, door knocking, all of it can teach you something.

But for me?

Life insurance has always been different.

Low startup cost. Relationship-based. Mission-driven. And it gives you a chance to help families have conversations they should’ve had years ago.

That’s not just sales. That’s stewardship.

Biblical stewardship isn’t just about money.

It’s about management.

How you manage:

• your attention
• your habits
• your health
• your time
• your relationships
• your opportunities
• your finances

A lot of people keep praying for increase while being careless with what they already have.

But throughout Scripture, God consistently entrusted more to people who proved faithful first.

Not perfect.
Faithful.

Because stewardship is evidence of maturity.

The way you handle “little” reveals how you’ll handle “much.”

That changes the conversation completely.

Maybe the delay isn’t punishment.
Maybe it’s preparation.

Maybe God’s trying to build discipline before distribution.

Because overflow without stewardship becomes destruction.

And real wealth without wisdom eventually owns the person holding it.

So before asking for more…
audit what’s already in your hands.

but they’re building alone.

No team.
No leverage.
No ownership.
Just another month trying to hit another number for somebody else’s system.

And the economy is making it harder to ignore.

When companies stop expanding, when promotions slow down, when better comp plans never come…

you have to ask yourself:

Am I building a career?

Or am I just renting my ambition to someone else?

There are families out here underprotected.
There are communities that still need financial education.
There are people waiting for someone to help them understand protection, wealth, and legacy.

That’s why we talk about building an agency.

Not just selling a policy.

Building leadership.
Building distribution.
Building ownership.
Building something that solves real problems.

Five years in a row now…a tradition for us. Same Monday in May for the same reason.

We don’t do the Murph because it’s fun. We do it because comfort makes you forget and forgetting is how a country LOSES what it was handed.

So once a year we trade comfort for a little bit of pain on purpose. We remember Lt. Michael P. Murphy and every name behind the freedom we enjoy today because of their ULTIMATE sacrifice.

We bring our families.
We pull each other through it.
Nobody quits.

That’s the MoneySmartMovement. On the field and throughout our offices we build people who do hard things together.

We have deep gratitude to build something that lasts because we have the freedom to do so.

You need somebody in your corner who loves you enough to challenge you.

That’s what discipline does.

It doesn’t care about your excuses.
It doesn’t care about your feelings.
It doesn’t care if you’re tired, offended, or uncomfortable.

Discipline is there to build the version of you that your family is counting on.

Because later, when the debt is gone…
When the business is moving…
When your body is stronger…
When your kids graduate without carrying your financial mistakes…

You’re not going to complain about the standard.

You’re going to thank God somebody held you to it.

Stop asking for comfort when you prayed for growth.
