Security Patrol Officer (Carson City)
High Sierra Patrol is a well established, reputable and professional Private Patrol Agency currently serving South Lake Tahoe, North Lake Tahoe and the Greater Carson Valley. Officers go in service at our Carson City office and commute to their assigned location in our Patrol Vehicles. Currently we are looking for qualified candidates to work our Patrol and On-site positions. Some day shift but primarily nighttime, vehicle patrol.

You must be at least 18 years of age, have an excellent work ethic, clean criminal background, a High School education or GED and live within a reasonable commute to our Carson City Office.

High Sierra Patrol is currently recruiting for the position of Supervisor / FTO.

Duties:

In addition to the duties regularly performed by a Patrol Officer, and subject to the Direction of the Chief (Chairman/CEO/QM) the Patrol Corporal shall help our Sargent oversee the Field Operations / Patrol Division of the agency and its staff. Essential duties include (but are not limited to) responsibility for the following: Patrol operations; reports and report writing; application and enforcement of departmental policies and procedures; professional standards; performance evaluations; customer and staff relations; FTO / new hire field training & evaluation; radio/telephone communications in patrol operations use; Vehicle fleet repair and service.

Requirements:

· Posses or be capable of obtaining PILB registration card.

· Clean DMV

· Verifiable experience in security / law enforcement / corrections / military or related fields involving public contact and requiring independent decision making.

· Minimum of one-year proven leadership capability or equivalent experience.

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.

· Willingness to work any assigned shift. This may include day or nighttime operations. Shifts begin at the Carson City Administration Office where Officers are assigned a patrol vehicle to work additional locations.

· Fundamental knowledge of vehicle operations and maintenance.

Salary:

Starting wage for this position is $16 hr. DOQ

Our Administrative Support Specialist will act as the central point for all office communications. This person must possess strong organizational and communication skills and must work well alone, with limited supervision.

This will be approximately a 20-25/hr. week position after initial training. The Administrative Support Specialist could anticipate working an average of 5 hours per day (M-F) with some flexibility.

Minimum requirements for the position:

Verifiable experience in an administrative position
High School Diploma or equivalent
Personal and professional references
Clean criminal background
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
Capable of multitasking
Must currently live in the Carson Valley region
Must be drug-free
The candidate selected will be responsible for a variety of duties including, but not limited to:

Word processing functions including letters, memos and crafting proposals
Maintaining equipment and necessary supplies
Filing and organizing Client / HR information
Interviewing, hiring and processing of new employees
Managing multiple logs including vehicle repair, employee training and payroll tracking
Acting as the communication liaison for the leadership team which includes opening and sorting mail, setting appointments, screening incoming calls and taking necessary action on all email correspondence
Coordinating vehicle repairs as directed
