Life will give you what it will give you. Good. Bad. Ugly. And, everything in between. Whatever it has to give, it will be given to you. It's not only about what you do with what is given, but also how you go about the business of doing it. If the road to greatness, prosperity, and success is taken on the backs of other people, then the gift of opportunity was wasted.

There is nothing noble about hate, or greed, or the mistreatment of others even when you reach your destination of glory as a result of it. Nor does the pain inflicted upon you become justification for doing the same.

Nobility comes in taking the higher ground, walking in integrity, being a beacon even in your brokenness.

The journey matters. Every step matters. Each choice matters. The path that gets you to where you need to be is what determines who you are and, ultimately, who you are to become. While the destination might be great, it is how you get there that will make your life and your impact good.
