Its great to have Life Insurance through your job but it should only be viewed as an extra perk and not your GO TO main coverage.
It goes away when you Leave, retire, or get fired.
Its Barely enough to take care of a funeral at todays cost.
It wont protect your families mortage, your lost income, your childrens education, or wipe out dedt.
For younger people it probably costs more than private coverage.
It has no living benefits.

Its good to have but it should make you say, "I have something through my job, im ok." You WONT have it forever.
