The next event on the SBG calendar is the 2nd Quarter NCABANA meeting: Saturday 6/20, at 10am, held at The Carthage Forge.

Details:
-The Carthage Forge is located in Moore County: 211 Martin St, Carthage NC 28327.
-Demonstration by Matt King of The Carthage Forge.
-There will be space for tailgate sales, please try to arrive on time if you plan to sell.
- There will be some samples and literature from Sculpt Nouveau (metal finishes company) available.
- BBQ lunch will be provided free of charge.
- There will be a “Blacksmith Challenge” station. This meeting's challenge will be a 2 1/2” nail “by eye” no measuring allowed, no outside tools with known measurements. More details on this at the event.
-As usual we will have an Iron In The Hat drawing. Please bring your items to donate, and buy plenty of tickets to win something you didn't know you needed.
- Bringing your own chairs is encouraged, there will be some seating available.

Practicing for upcoming demonstrations and finishing up some old projects. Been busy with other stuff, so it’s been nice to get back to forging.

Carthage’s annual Buggy Festival is happening Saturday! Plenty to see and do. I’ll be at the forge most of the day; drop in and say hi.

Got to see oaknutworkshop in action a few weeks ago at the Q1 nc_abana meeting. He worked up a Damascus blade.

First SBG meeting of the year is this Saturday, March 7th! 10am, ending around 2pm. Short demonstration followed by an open forge. Bring whatever you’ve been working on, or try out something new. As always, meeting will be held . 211 Martin St, Carthage NC.
