Fireworks at our new family compound lastnight. It was glorious. I am in awe of how God works out the details even when we are terrified.

We started this process buying 3 acres to build on. That’s it. We had a plan. We would build with United Built and use their 12 months of no payments to get things settled.

God had different plans. The property owners couldn’t get 3 acres released and were getting divorced. We had two options - walk away or buy the whole place. 🫠

Surprise after surprise. Intricate timing details. Angels carefully orchestrated this season, and oooooooof it’s hard.

Come January we will have two mortgage payments, a renter, and more unexpected bills piled up. BUT GOD.

Am I unsettled? 1000% yes

Am I afraid? 1000% NO

He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him and are called according to His purpose.

We will see His glory. We will see His provision.

We will show our babies what a life walking in kingdom purpose really looks like. It’s not always easy … but the rewards are endless. 🤌🏻

It’ll get there eventually … but for now we are thankful for God’s provision to get some things cleaned up for the new family coming to town.

Rain came.
Wind blew.
My house was built on you.

We didn’t set out on this path to rent this place.

We had a year to get it sold before our final mortgage kicks in on our own home.

But God. We couldn’t make this up. We didn’t look for it. We didn’t ask for it. We just waited and stood for the promises of God.

He’s an on time God. Yes, He is. 🤌🏻
