When we had our family meeting this Sunday I realized that Tuesday night we had a BIG FAT NOTHING on our after school calendar.

In the midst of 2 girls graduating (and all those activities) and our 2 boys finishing their normal school year, this is kind of a miracle.

So I asked my hubby / business partner if he wanted a date night!

We went to one of our favorite places and they treated us like VIPs.

We talked through Cash flow, Delegation and team, Summer schedule, and Ad performance.

Nellie was the sweetest.

And of course the food and wine were delish (as always).

I will always come back to a place that gives excellent customer service. They make you feel welcome, warm, seen, and known. ❤️

The day you finally make your Business Retreat dreams a reality 😍👇🏽

With the 200% growth the business saw last year, we recently made the leap to an LLC. I was determined to get the legal framework solidified—the paperwork, the EIN, the new accounts—so we could head into my 40th birthday weekend with a formal quarterly retreat on the schedule.

I spent the week leading up to the trip updating the exact Strategic Ops framework I use with my clients to ensure our time was productive, legal, and focused.

We sat down at the neighborhood Hotel in Little Italy, Chicago and looked at the intersection of business growth and family life. We reviewed Q1, but we also created a plan for Q2:
