Salaried Position| 30 hours/week | $35–$40/hour ($54,600–$62,400 annually)
Location: Wake County, NC, with a Family Resource Center in Apex and regional engagement in Moore, Montgomery, Richmond, and surrounding counties.
Reports to: Board of Directors
Fiesta Family Services (FFS) is seeking a mission-driven, collaborative, and hands-on Executive Director to lead the organization as it continues to grow its programs, partnerships, community presence, and organizational capacity.
The Executive Director will provide overall leadership to ensure FFS operations, staff, programs, fund development, financial management, partnerships, and community engagement remain aligned with the vision, mission, and established governance relationship of Fiesta Cristiana Mission Congregation. Working closely with the FFS Board, the ED will translate organizational priorities into action while strengthening the systems and resources needed for long-term sustainability.
This is an opportunity for a leader who enjoys both big-picture strategy and hands-on implementation and who is committed to listening to communities and building solutions with, not simply for, the people FFS serves.
What You’ll Lead
-Provide strategic and operational leadership for the organization.
-Supervise and support staff, program managers, and contractors.
-Maintain alignment with Fiesta Cristiana Mission Congregation within the established governance relationship.
-Oversee organizational finances, budgeting, reporting, cash flow, and annual audit.
-Lead fundraising and resource development, including grants, sponsorships, campaigns, contracts, and individual giving.
-Guide programs and services to ensure they respond to community needs and organizational priorities.
-Build strong relationships with funders, donors, community organizations, government agencies, schools, faith communities, businesses, and other partners.
-Represent FFS in community, public, media, advocacy, and other external settings.
-Work with the FFS Board to support effective fiscal oversight, accountability, and organizational development.
-Monitor outcomes, community feedback, and organizational performance to support learning and continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will bring:
-Demonstrated leadership experience in a nonprofit, community-based, faith-based, or similarly mission-driven organization.
-Experience with operations, staff supervision, fundraising, financial management, and strategic planning.
-Strong relationship-building skills and experience working across sectors and with diverse stakeholders.
-Experience overseeing community-based programs and using outcomes and community feedback to strengthen services.
-Understanding of Latino/a, immigrant, rural, and other underserved communities and a commitment to centering community voices.
-Strong Spanish and English communication skills, written and verbal.
-Knowledge of nonprofit governance, grants, compliance, and financial management.
-Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
-The ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on management in a growing organization.
-A demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, belonging, community empowerment, faith-based and missional work.
