First..it made me uncomfortable to post this because I struggle with boundaries and have allocated my resources multiple times to assist people in my life. If it makes me uncomfortable it's because of that struggle and that may resonate with some of you as well. Charity and helping those who cannot help themselves builds compassion while doing the same for people who can and choose not to builds resentment. You cannot deplete your resources caring to others...it's not selfish, it's self preservation.
