Good QA/QC should make the end of a project feel almost uneventful.

That starts long before closeout: confirming drawings and specifications, documenting work as it happens, tracking deficiencies, resolving questions early, and making sure the final records match what was actually built.

The discipline applies whether the work involves wind, solar, battery storage, substations, facilities, or other critical infrastructure. A missed detail rarely gets cheaper with time.

The AI revolution isn’t just changing technology—it’s reshaping America’s electrical infrastructure.

Data centers consumed approximately 176 TWh of electricity in the U.S. in 2023, representing about 4.4% of total U.S. electricity usage. That figure is expected to grow significantly over the next few years as AI, cloud computing, and digital services continue to expand.

Some key statistics:

⚡ U.S. data center power consumption is projected to reach 325–580 TWh by 2028, potentially accounting for 6.7%–12% of all U.S. electricity demand.

⚡ More than 700 data centers are currently under construction across the United States, representing approximately 18 GW of new capacity.

⚡ Data centers are expected to be one of the largest drivers of future utility load growth, accounting for roughly 55% of forecasted demand growth in utility planning studies.

As this demand accelerates, so does the need for:
✔️ New substations
✔️ Transmission and distribution upgrades
✔️ Grid modernization
