If you need any documents recorded it is a $65 charge for the first document and $15 for every additional document plus city fees. Here is a breakdown of fees the city charges to file to public records.

Document pickup is also $65 per document.

I often say my clients are like family and they definitely think so as well.

This young woman came to me shortly after entering the country and I helped her with her asylum documents. She fled her country under threat of murder after a physical attack. Yes she came in with an unsecured status but what most people don’t know is for most asylum cases that is the first step of their legal process. I helped save her life and yesterday I helped her celebrate her daughter’s 1st birthday. Her daughter who is a born American only because of her mother’s bravery. She doesn’t have much family here and so I was happy to attend. No matter what you think I am proud to say we did this together. I am happy to say I am on the right side of history. Empathy is never wrong.
