Do you have a middle or high school student who loves to create? Here’s a chance to put their artistic talent in the spotlight! 🇺🇸🎨

Castle Rock Artfest is hosting the America 250 / Colorado 150 Art Contest, inviting Douglas County middle and high school students to create original artwork inspired by America’s 250th anniversary, Colorado’s 150th anniversary, our nation’s past, present and future, and what Colorado means to them.

✨ Contest Details:
• Who can enter: Douglas County middle & high school art students
• What to submit: 8.5" x 11" oil or water-based painting
• Deadline: Wednesday, September 9, 2026
• Where to submit artwork: Castle Rock Chamber, 420 Jerry Street, Castle Rock, CO 80104
