Goold Hill Vineyard & Cidery and Goold Hill Apple Orchard, the Capital Region’s longest family-owned apple orchard since 1910, are preparing to open this August (exact opening date to be announced).

Today we had some very special guests visit our sister property, Aquila's Nest Vineyards in Sandy Hook, Connecticut.

We were honored to spend time with Sue and Peter Goold, whose family has founded and stewarded Goold Orchards since 1910, preserving more than a century of agricultural heritage in New York’s Capital Region. Joining us was Joe, who has dedicated decades of his life to the farm, having started there in his early 20s and helping create generations of orchard memories.

Also pictured is Ashley, our new General Manager, who will help lead the next chapter of Goold Hill Apple Orchard and Goold Hill Vineyard and Cidery while honoring the traditions, people, and values that have made this farm such a treasured part of the community.

We’re excited to share that our interior renovations are nearly complete, and we have already received our temporary liquor license. Stay tuned—our Grand Opening announcement is just weeks away, and we can’t wait to welcome you to experience the next chapter of this historic farm.
