THE CAPTAIN OF THIS SHIP! ⚓️🎂

She may not always be the first one on deck, but she’s definitely the last one off. Day in and day out, Lauren works hard to keep Woodard Marine moving in the right direction.

Like any great captain, she’s steered us through a few storms along the way, always managing to bring us out the other side stronger and better than where we started. We’re lucky to have her at the helm and excited to see where she steers us next!

👋 TODAY WE SAY GOODBYE TO ANOTHER MEMBER OF OUR SUMMER CREW — STEVEN! 🚤🔧

Today, Steven is heading back home to Shrub Oak, NY, and back to Lakeland High School after another busy summer at Woodard Marine.

For the past two years, Steven has been a big part of our Rental Department. From making sure the boats are clean and ready for our guests, to helping check customers in and out, he’s always been willing to jump in wherever he’s needed.

But this year, Steven is taking the next step. 🔧

Steven has a desire to become a marine technician, and we’re excited to help him start down that path. For the past few weeks, he’s been working alongside our technicians, learning the ropes and getting his first hands-on experience in the service department.

Over the winter, he’ll be taking technician classes to get his feet wet and continue building the skills he’ll need for a future in the marine industry.

We’re excited to be a part of Steven’s next chapter and look forward to watching him learn and grow along the way.

Steven, thanks for all your hard work this summer! Enjoy the school year, keep learning, and we look forward to seeing you again soon! 👏🚤🔧

💙 TODAY WE SAY GOODBYE TO ELIZABETH! 💙

After 5 years at Woodard Marine, today is Elizabeth’s last day with us. Over the years, she’s done a little bit of everything, fueling boats, running the register, answering countless questions about water toys, and this year, even training the next crew to take over. 🚤⛽

We asked Elizabeth if she had picked up any trade secrets when it comes to counting the drawers at the end of the night. Her response? She’s been counting change since she was 14, working at a taco stand. 😂

So, in other words… she’s keeping her secrets to herself. 🌮💰

Elizabeth is finishing up her four years at UVM as she works toward becoming a nurse. We couldn’t be happier for her as she heads into the next chapter, although after five summers, she is definitely going to be missed around here.

If you need gas today, swing by Woodard Marine, fill up, and be sure to wish Elizabeth good luck and goodbye! 👋💙

Because tomorrow… we’re going into the Woodard Marine archives and pulling the OG Gas Girl, Barb, out of retirement! 😂⛽
