Snapper Removal in Westport, Denver

Got a call from a gentleman in Denver’s Westport area about a large snapper that had washed up near his property. Within minutes of arriving, I was able to safely remove it and get things squared away.
The customer turned out to be one of those people you just instantly click with. Friendly, genuine, and full of great hunting stories. His home was like a museum of past adventures. Walls covered in antlered mounts, and a garage lined with fan mounts that’d make any outdoorsman stop and stare.
When it came time to settle up, he asked what he owed. I told him to name his price. Truth be told, I would’ve done it for nothing. But not only did he insist on a very generous payment, I also got a notification later that his wife had left me a 5-star review.
From the first phone call, I knew they were my kind of people. Down-to-earth, kindhearted, and outdoors through and through. Always grateful to meet good folks like that along the way! 🙌

Deer frequently leave their fawns unattended for extended periods while foraging. The mother will reunite with her fawn when she is ready. Unless the fawn appears dehydrated, wounded, or visibly distressed, it is best to leave it undisturbed. It is not uncommon for fawns to be found near residential areas and structures, as these locations provide a safe haven from predators. Some things to look out for if you spot one are: Are its ears tipped over? Any wounds? Is it making excessive noise? Runny p**p on the back legs? Fly larva? Take note of those things and contact a wildlife rehabilitation professional if necessary.

I can provide guidance on preventative methods to secure chicken coops and livestock pens. Trapping is a vital part of managing nuisance wildlife, but it's not always the most effective or practical solution. Every situation is different, and sometimes no-dig fencing with below-ground security is enough to safeguard the coop or garden. Contact me for more information.

It is officially April and bear activity is increasing every day. Stay 50 yards (150ft) away from wildlife. Follow the speed limit to avoid injuring or killing wildlife crossing roads. Respect their distance; bears are wild animals and the park is their home. If you wish to take a photo remain inside your car and do not block traffic.

Ask about our bat box installs! My standard bat box install comes with an evaluation of the property to determine the best location, 1 bat box that sleeps 75 bats and installation all for $200. The premium bat boxes are elevated on poles so they can be in fields, timber or wherever you’d like, they hold 250 bats, predator proof and can be installed for as low as $375.

White nose has depleted our bat population tremendously. If everyone pitched in to help the bat population maybe we could make a difference. Installing a bat house on your property can provide a safe environment for bats, while protecting your yard from pest insects, like mosquitoes, moths, and beetles. Bat houses give females a safe, warm place to raise their young. Since most female bats only have one pup each year, bat populations grow very slowly.
