The Receiving Clerk is responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming materials, components, and supplies. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory accuracy, documentation control, and efficient material flow within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
-Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, completeness, and damage
-Verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders
-Accurately enter receipts into the ERP/MRP system in a timely manner
-Label and route materials to appropriate departments or storage locations
-Coordinate with Purchasing and Quality teams to resolve shipment discrepancies
-Maintain an organized receiving area and ensure proper material storage practices
-Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle count activities
-Ensure compliance with company quality standards and operational procedures
-Maintain required documentation supporting ISO/AS9100 compliance requirements
-Communicate effectively with internal teams to support efficient operations
