OUR SYSTEM WAS A GAME CHANGER!!! A Cedar Falls neighborhood was threatened by a bad guy! Our system did it's job and helped to catch the potential thief. This is a text from the home owner with our system which was triggered during the event. Other homes were tried first, when the bad guy tried our system, it "went off" triggering a chain of events. Our system, combined with the tenacity of the homeowners helped catch the bad guy! We're hoping to help serve the neighborhood with more alarm systems to help keep more bad guys away!!!

DOOR KICKED IN! Another door under repair after being kicked in and the home burglarized. Imagine the feeling when they walked into their home to find it a mess, and the moment when they realized what had happened. We've protected this family with a new security system. Unfortunately, not until after this awful event. We've also added water detection sensors in both utility rooms, and smoke detectors for an additional insurance discount.

BURGLAR ALERT! Unfortunately this was their front door before we installed a new burglar alarm system for this family. Don't let this be yours. The family had presents stacked in a bedroom which fortunately survived the break in. It looks like the thieves were scared away just 'by chance' before they were found. They lost phones, tablets/ipads, jewelry and a check book. Checks were written, what a mess! Not again! They now enjoy knowing their home is protected by an ABSOLUTE SECURITY alarm system. It's always home, alway on, always watching, and ready to call for the police.

The mom would have interrupted the burglary but made an extra stop on the way home.

BURGLARY, WHILE WOMAN HOME ALONE!

WATERLOO – Officers caught an alleged burglar Friday morning after he broke into a home while the resident was sleeping.

The female resident awoke to a man in her bedroom of her Prospect Boulevard house around 4:10 a.m., and she called 911 as he fled. She reported a $10 bill, a few $1 bills and an unopened pack of Marlboro Lights ci******es missing.

Officers determined he entered the house by standing on a chair and crawling through a window.

Police spotted a vehicle at Hilltop Road and Prospect near the scene and stopped it.

The occupant, 34-year-old Joshua Wilson, was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt the victim had described, and officers found a pack of Marlboro Lights ci******es and cash in the denominations reported missing, according to court records.

Wilson, of 1026 W. Fifth St., was arrested for second-degree burglary.
