Hey everyone, I’m asking for a moment of your time to help out one of our own.

Earlier today, my good friend and longtime customer Wes Webb experienced an apartment fire that caused significant loss. Thankfully, Wes is safe, but he’s facing the difficult reality of rebuilding after something no one is ever prepared for.

Wes has always been a solid guy β€” supportive, hardworking, and someone I’m proud to call both a customer and a friend. When things like this happen, it reminds us how important it is to show up for each other.

I’ve started a GoFundMe to help Wes cover immediate expenses and get back on his feet. If you’re able to donate anything at all, it would mean the world to him. And if you can’t donate, please consider sharing this post.

I’m especially asking my customers, friends, and the pressure washing industry β€” this is how we take care of our people.

I've had some recent requests about how I build my gear drives. Ill attach some photos and try to give a brief explanation.

The initial step is to always lay out your work, to verify all of the parts you need are actually in the box!

1) The factory (4) 6mm allen head bolts need to be removed. They are too short to work with the gearbox.

2)The "pump side" attachment plate needs to have the smaller of the orings installed into the recessed area, after being lubricated by some silicon grease. And finally, carefully placed onto the pump, with the oring on the pump side, and alligning the 4 bolt holes at the same time.

3) The (4) 6mm supplied allen bolts that attach the gear drive plate to the pump comes with a rubber washer. The best way that I've had, with not damaging the rubber washers, is to turn the allen bolt and let that pull the washer to the head(see video). It's not best practice to just slide the washer down the bolt, that can cause a tear on the rubber washer and could cause a small leak. Make sure to apply red locktite to these four inner bolts. You dont want them backing out.

4) After applying more silicone l**e to the larger oring, place it into the outside groove as shown. Do not "roll" the oring into position. You need to actually expand the oring, and gently place it into the groove. That will prevent the oring from being twisted on the fl**ge and either not want to stay in place, or not stay perfectly round, and again could cause a small leak.

5) When installing the gear, the shoulder of the gear faces the pump. Slide the gear down until it bottoms out, then back off about a 1/16. Apply red locktite to the set screw, using a 4mm allen, tighten. Use the photo as a example of how much pump shaft is shown.

6)Outer 4 case bolts have a supplied convex washer. Apply where the "cone" is facing the head of the allen bolt. (See photo)

7) Before setting the case down onto the main gear, rotate the female engine shaft keyway to the 12 position, or as close as you can. That will aid you in the installation onto the engine.

8) When setting the Outer case onto the main gear, allow the case to pivot. Gently clock the case to allign, install bolts.

9) Best practice to use a 30mm socket to install and tighten the site glass. I apply a little blue anti vibration locktite. After a few heat cycles, the site glass can loosen and leak.

10) Installing the drain, well, pretty self explanatory. I use the same blue locktite.

**MOST IMPORTANT**

YOU HAVE TO LET THE LOCKTITE CURE BEFORE PUTTING THE GEARBOX INTO SERVICE!! IF YOU DONT, THE INNER BOLTS WILL NOT CURE, AND COULD CAUSE THE BOLTS TO LOOSEN OVER TIME, AND CAUSE A FAILURE. I ALWAYS BUILD MINE AT LEAST 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE IF AT ALL POSSIBLE.
