Admissions Counselor (Part-Time | Remote/Hybrid) – Iowa Conservatory, Iowa City, IA
Iowa Conservatory (ICON), a creative, competency-based arts and academic school, seeks a relationship-driven Admissions Counselor to manage the full student recruitment and enrollment process. This part-time role is ideal for an experienced admissions professional passionate about alternative education and personalized family engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the admissions process from inquiry through enrollment
Build relationships with prospective students and families through tours, events, and ongoing communication
Manage admissions systems, records, and enrollment tracking
Support recruitment, outreach, and referral network development
Collaborate on marketing initiatives and enrollment growth strategies
Qualifications
3+ years in admissions, enrollment management, or related experience
Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
Experience with CRM/admissions software preferred
Self-motivated and collaborative
Preferred
Passion for arts education and individualized learning
Detail-oriented, flexible, and comfortable in a small-team environment
Compensation
Flexible part-time schedule with base pay, commission, and enrollment growth incentives.
