I just got back from an amazing week in Australia. My partner David and I participated in a Wisconsin trade mission organized by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) and supported by Foley, their export partner in Australia.

After a 15-hour flight from SFO to Sydney (and a battle with jet lag Iโ€™m still not sure Iโ€™ve won), I connected with some truly innovative businesses and agencies in Sydney and Melbourne.

Here are a few standouts:

โ€ข ๐—ฃ๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ธ๐˜€๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜ƒ, a global leader in automated packaging equipment.
โ€ข Import and export agencies like ๐—”๐—บ๐—–๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—บ and ๐—œ๐—ป๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜ ๐—ก๐—ฆ๐—ช.

What really stood out to me was the energy and eagerness of these companies to expand into the U.S. market.

But for many, the process can feel complicatedโ€”so much so that it often leads to inaction. Thatโ€™s where the Vx Group comes in. Our team-based approach and Measured in Millions methodology make U.S. market entry fast, frictionless, and effective.

This trip was a stark reminder that the first meeting is just the startโ€”itโ€™s up to us to nurture those connections, build trust, and create partnerships that deliver value over time.

A few weeks ago, on a spectacular fall business trip to London, we announced David Tisdale as the new President of the Vx Group. David has been leading the business with me since we met more than eight years ago. He's a great leader and a great friend. Together, we will impact the trajectory of businesses around the world.

So what does that mean for me? I've taken on the role of Founder and CEO. I'll work closely with a focused team to drive all our portfolio businesses' vision, evolution, and growth.

I'm more excited than ever about what we're building at the Vx Group, and I appreciate everyone who has been on this crazy journey with us.

Excited to share that the Vx Group has added Bconduct, a global product design and manufacturing firm headquartered in Israel, to our expanding roster of international companies we're helping grow in the United States.

Bconduct has design, engineering, and high-volume manufacturing facilities in Israel, China, and Hong Kong. From springs to SMT circuit boards, Bconduct's capabilities span a wide array of manufacturing processes.

We're Growing Global!

Since day one of the Vx Group, our vision has included building a global business. In 2021 we focused on expanding our international footprint and impact. I'm proud to share that business is booming, and the value we're bringing to our new global clients is stronger than ever.

Our spin on global business is a little different than most. While we have always helped our North American clients grow their business internationally, our growing niche is working closely with international companies to sell their products and services in the US. We've signed seven new clients from New Zealand, Israel, and Turkey in the past three months.

It's been amazing seeing how fast we've grown our international client portfolio at the Vx Group, and I'm beyond proud of the team we've assembled to make it happen. I can't wait to pack my bags, hop on a plane, and visit my new friends around the world. I'll share a few stories along the way as our new global relationships evolve.

Vx Group Demand Generation Managers work directly with our clients to help find, pursue and acquire new customers. The primary objective of this role is to find, pursue and qualify B2B sales opportunities through our programatic outbound demand generation programs. As an integral part of both the Vx Group and our clientโ€™s team, your practical โ€œroll up your sleeves and get $%^ # doneโ€ attitude and passion for business development will drive measurable revenue growth for our clients.

Typical activities:

Account-based sales outreach
CRM management
Opportunity follow-up
Sales & marketing research
Sales outreach coordination
Internal and external team coordination
Presentation preparation and client delivery
Sales call coordination and follow-up
Sales metrics preparation & communication

The position

So, what does the job entail? Put simply, you're a "million dollar matchmaker" between companies who may end up doing business together. At the Vx Group, our sole purpose is to drive revenue growth for our clients so each day brings new and interesting challenges for this role. Some days will be spent writing, sending, and analyzing the results of a personalized email campaign and other days youโ€™ll be managing CRM data, researching prospects, and following up on sales opportunities.

Core responsibilities

Research, procure and activate target account and contact data

Build and engage lists of target accounts based on clientsโ€™ ideal customer profiles.

Work with client and Vx team to vet and validate list quality and accuracy.
Handle data across multiple systems. Update and enhance data as campaign progresses.

Execute multiple, concurrent demand generation programs

Write, edit, test and continuously optimize copy for outbound email campaigns.

Use both phone and email as needed to improve campaign performance.

Consistently qualify and transition new opportunities as they come in.

Monitor, measure and route inbound opportunities from PPC, social media, website and any other lead generation sources.

Prepare and present reports on campaign effectiveness and lead statuses.

Manage demand generation technology including ZoomInfo, SalesLoft and SalesForce.

Review any paid inbound PPC/SEO results on assigned accounts. Have an awareness of digital ad targeting criteria and the quality of leads generated.

Requirements

Bachelorโ€™s degree in marketing, sales or related field. Relevant business/sales experience considered in lieu of a traditional degree.

Ideally 3 years hands-on experience with CRM.

A positive, confident personality.

Comfortable with digital communications techniques & technologies.

We expect you to be the expert with tools like CRM, lead gen platforms, email marketing tools, social platforms and analytics.

Stellar written and verbal communications skills.

Solid, sales oriented business acumen.
