Shots Fired at Parked Vehicle in Battlement Mesa

Early on Thursday morning, September 25, 2025 Deputies took a “shots fired” call at the Willow Park Apartments in Battlement Mesa. Upon arrival, Deputies found a vehicle that had been “shot up”. There were no victims or suspects at the scene. The area was secured and Investigators were called to the scene.

Within four hours GCSO (Garfield County Sheriff’s Office) Investigators had identified a likely suspect. With the evidence accumulated the Investigators were able to obtain a search warrant for suspect’s residence in the Willow Park Apartments.

SPEAR (Special Problems Enforcement And Response), HSI (Homeland Security Investigations) and Deputies from the GCSO executed the search warrant this morning September 26, 2025.

Several weapons were recovered in the ex*****on of the warrant, including the one suspected of being used in the previous morning’s shooting. Following an initial interview with the suspect, it was determined that the vehicle targeted in the shooting was selected randomly, there was no indication that the suspect had specifically targeted the vehicle based on knowledge of the owner of the vehicle.

Soloman Mato Holliday, DOB: 06/24/2003, was arrested and transported to the Garfield County Jail.

El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Seeks Public’s Help in Locating Missing Woman

El Paso, TX – The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 48-year-old Sandra Diane Suetos, who was last seen on August 24, 2025.

Suetos is described as a White female, 5’5” tall, weighing approximately 130 lbs., with shoulder-length brown hair, light brown eyes, and a light skin tone. She was last seen wearing a white shirt with an unknown logo on the front, pink shorts, and light blue Sketchers tennis shoes. Suetos does not have any known scars, marks, or tattoos. Suetos was last seen leaving on foot and was not wearing any jewelry.

Anyone with information on Sandra Diane Suetos’ whereabouts is urged to contact the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office at (915) 832-4408.
