Don’t wait until your septic system backs up into your home to get your tank pumped! Save yourself the headache and schedule a pump out if you are unsure when your septic tank was last pumped. The health department recommends that your septic tank be pumped every 3-5 years depending on household size, tank capacity, water usage, etc.

Today we remember Jimmy Minge, who passed away one year ago today. He was the best father, grandfather, and husband. His influence will be felt for generations as he taught us so much, such as how to work hard and treat people right.

His legacy lives on, as we continue to carry on the family business that he once carried on. He was proud to be a Minge, and so are we.

🚨 PSA: “Flushable” Wipes Should Not Be Flushed
Most baby wipe brands are marketed as “flushable” and/or “septic safe.” We’re here to remind you that is NOT the case.

Unlike toilet paper, baby wipes are designed to stay strong when wet. That means they don't break down quickly after they're flushed. Instead, they can:
❌ Clog your home's plumbing
❌ Build up inside your septic tank
❌ Block sewer lines and pumps
❌ Increase the risk of costly backups and repairs

Our advice? Don’t use them at all or get some scented trash bags to throw them away in. A simple habit change can help extend the life of your septic system and decrease the risk of back ups and frequent pump outs!
