To every Associate who has walked into a training room and sensed something was off, even when everything looked fine on the surface, this post is for you.
Our newest blog from co-owner Annie Browning puts language to what so many of us have been experiencing in training rooms: the weight of years of VUCA, playing out in teams' ability to think differently and find alignment. Read it here: https://hubs.li/Q04hkyc30
At the heart of this challenge is a distinction between two kinds of time:
🕐 *Clock time* — measurable, relentless, the rhythm most of our stakeholders are trapped in.
🌊 *Duration* — the lived experience of time that makes presence, awareness and genuine collaboration possible.
Under VUCA, individuals and teams have lost access to duration. What Associates do to create environments where people can slow down, surface what's real and actually engage with each other can restore it.
We explore these concepts in our blog, and for Associates who want to expand this capacity, join us in Denver on June 24–25 for Elevate! 📩 [email protected]
