At a recent menu development ideation session for a French cafe, we went for it on the French toast. The crowd-favorite flavor combo? This here is S'mores-inspired French toast.

🥖 🍓 Lightly battered thick challah bread topped with graham cracker crumble, powdered sugar, chocolate sauce and chocolate chips, fresh strawberries, and Toasted Marshmallow Fluff...because you can never have too many toppings on a sweet breakfast.

Pumpkin LTO season is upon us, and is delivering. They have a line of 6 pumpkin smoothies this fall. We tried the D-Lite smoothie without the dates and enjoyed its smooth texture and subtle pumpkin taste. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Will order again!

They are calling it a comeback! Chipotle's got carne asada back on the grill thru Sept 30 and everyone is ordering it, at least everyone in line the same time as us was ordering it. We counted: 12 people in front of us purchased some variation with carne asada.

Our lettuce-heavy bowl could've used a few more pieces of the meat, which was perfectly spiced, tender, and popped with lime.

Nice work, .

Next time we will splurge and just get the chips and queso so we can sprinkle and drizzle atop that bowl for a next-level lunch.

Safe to say that FDR's 4th (almost annual) Golf + Pickleball Outing was a success. On Aug 7,, more than 75 of us ate and played enough to raise $15,000 for Food Bank of the Rockies and its parent company Feeding America.

FDR's development chefs made it to recently for the limited time offer. They made it their way by choosing the Soaring Strawberry Lemonade and the "FIERY" Dragon Mozzarella Fries, featuring melty mozzarella cheese, peppers, and Fiery Calabrian chili pepper-breading. Chef Danny loved the spice, but Chef Ponch said they were 'just ok' overall.

The whopper bun had a touch of spice and a wallop of red-and-orange-marbled bun coloring (made with natural spices and vegetables) to fit the theme. It still tasted like a tried and true Whopper--delicious!

Ponch and Danny agree that the overall concept was fun. It's even motivated them to see the new live-action movie.

The Matcha with Lavender Cold Foam Latte from did not disappoint. The may have ended April 30, but rumor has it you can still order the latte off the secret menu.

We love to see brands play off of events and seasons on the menu. The color, aroma, and flavor hit spring on the nose. We only wished for a fuller foam topping.
