You will deliver propane to commercial businesses using stake trucks and/or tank trucks.

Responsibilities:

As a Propane Delivery Driver, you will make routine deliveries to businesses and homes and provide them with timely and safe propane deliveries. As you will be the key component in ensuring safe and prompt delivery to our customers, you must always follow safety company policies and procedures as well as DOT regulations.

Specific qualifications include:

Filling, loading, and transporting propane cylinders
Safely operating all aspects of a delivery vehicle
Accurately assessing customer propane usage
Perform billing procedures in accordance with established policies and procedures
Responding to and following out-of-gas procedures
Maintaining a safe and clean working environment and equipment while adhering to OSHA, State and Federal safety regulations
Follow routine and time schedule
Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
Requirements:

As a Propane Delivery Driver you will use your navigation and safety skills to successfully deliver propane to our customers. You will need to be detail-oriented as well as focused with a flexible and adaptable nature.

Specific qualifications include:

High School Diploma or Equivalent
CTEP certified, preferred
Valid CDL Class A or B Driver License with Tank and Hazmat endorsements
Ability to meet the company's motor vehicle policy
Must be reliable, diligent, dependable
Ability to effectively utilize maps, locate addresses
Propane Delivery experience a plus
Possible nights, weekend work; potential overtime
Clean driving record a must

We are looking to add an experienced delivery driver to our team!

Duties and Responsibilities of our Propane Delivery Driver:
o Be a self-starter who works well in a team environment.
o Operate company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
o Perform daily vehicle inspections and routine vehicle maintenance.
o Deliver to customer’s homes and businesses safely, courteously, and efficiently.
o Bulk fuel delivery
o Forklift cylinder delivery
o Refill, load, and unload propane forklift cylinders.
o Possess a pleasant demeanor, utilize a tablet, and perform simple math and penmanship.
o Work scheduled time Monday – Friday, 7:30a – 5:00p
o Daily and weekend over time as needed
o Work from multiple locations when needed (Center Line and Romeo, MI)
Basic Requirements:
o Must have or be willing to obtain a CDL Class B
o Endorsements
o Tank
o Haz-Mat
o Air-brake
o Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, DOT physical, and a Department of Homeland Security background check.
o CETP Certification
o Crane operation
o Able to pull delivery hose up to 150 feet up to 25 times daily
o Able to load/unload up to 300-400 forklift cylinders (approx. 56 lbs) onto/off a delivery vehicle
o High school diploma or equivalent
o Experience preferred but not required
