So, yesterday 28-Feb-2023 was my last day at Cisco as a Red Badge for the Bank of America project.
For the better part of the last decade I have worked that job...it was awesome and horrible all at the same time.
I worked with and for some pretty amazing people, that project was never supposed to be a career. Although It kinda turned into that...lol.

While I will always look back at my time with Cisco/BofA as an awesome learning/life experience, I am moving on to a new challenge which is who and what i am all about. In fact, I have Cisco/BofA to thank (at least partially) for going off on my own!

I am now working 100% full time for myself (my boss is such a jerk) at SRCWireless, LLC.

I think I AM IN LOVE!!!!

So i have had a "few" (lol) customers and friends ask me if we could run fiber from building to building on their ranches or for their businesses....and up until now...we did...but its ALWAYS Pricey down here in South Texas...trenching sucks...just saying... So i finally listened to Steve C and HOLY S**T!!!! We are currently building out an RV Park in Comfort, TX with a Siklu MultiHaul TG PtMP backhaul network then handing directly off to WiFi Access Points for guest access and as soon as we are done I'll post pics...This stuff is AMAZING...when you calculate the cost AND DANGER of trenching...this is a no brainer...funniest part is...these products are VERY easy to aim (even at VERY long distances) and operate in the 60Ghz freq so they don't kill your site's wifi capabilities...what is also really nice and just plain awesome is...they have a PoE out (just like the old Cisco 15x0(s) outdoor APs) built into the T280, T265 and the N366 units...so you don't have to run separate power or use stupid inserters...the UI is easy to use and very clean...data rates are unreal....so unreal that I'm not going to tell yall what they are, I'll post them once we finish this install and you can see yourself that data at M-Gig speeds out to the edge is not just possible, but affordable too...so crazy.... We can install the poles, PtMP solution, the Wifi APs and even Remote Power solutions if you do not have power where you need data or wifi connectivity.

Anywho, ill stop gushing...lol, but if you need data or wifi out in a place you thought you would never get fiber...or your ISP will only drop fiber at the edge of your property but you still need to get it to the part you live on (an issue we had a LONG time ago) this is your fix... message me up at SRCWireless, LLC on facebook or SRCWireless.net and we will get you going!

We got the CBRS lab back up and running with some tweaks… at the moment, the Base stations are still under 20’ off the ground…we can still get signal 6 miles away on I10…we will be mounting them up at about 30 foot and on top of our hill which is just under 2,000 ft, while adding more downtilt for better local coverage…it’s a great time to be alive!!!
