On Tuesday, September 22, 2025, the 2025 Folds of Honor/Phenneger Wingman Golf Open was held at the beautiful/prestigious Saucon Valley Country Club. It was an honor and privilege to volunteer and to represent the SpringHill Suites by Marriott, Allentown/Bethlehem, Center Valley/High Hotels. SHSCV was one of the sponsors that supported the Folds of Honor event - a leading non-profit organization that provides educational scholarships to the children and spouses of America's fallen or disabled military service members and first responders.

The day couldn't have been better: perfect weather, delicious food and spirits, and incredible networking opportunities. I had a blast volunteering at the registration desk alongside Barry Letts and Henry Stueber and later teaming up with Barry at the Hole-in-One challenge. Although no one claimed the $10,000 prize, the energy and enthusiasm were unmatched.

Hats off to Saucon Valley Country Club -everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Also, a huge hats off to John Borneman, Folds of Honor Chapter President, Jen Carbone, Volunteer Coordinator, and all the incredible volunteers who made this day so special. I am already looking forward to 2026 and feel deeply honored to have contributed to such a meaningful cause on behalf on SHSCV/High Hotels.

Nancy Derby, Director of Sales at the Springhill Suites by Marriott Allentown Bethlehem, Center Valley, attended the Spring Into Giving Food Drive benefiting Meals on Wheels of the Greater Lehigh Valley, and New Bethany. Thank you to all the High Hotels Ltd. co- workers from the SpringHill Suites by Marriott, Center Valley, Tru by Hilton and Home 2 Easton properties for donating food and being part of this effort to give back to our Lehigh Valley community.

Thank you to all of the staff at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Allentown Bethlehem/Center Valley for collecting toys for children receiving care at the Lehigh Valley Health Network Reilly Children’s Hospital. We hope that the toys will bring moments of joy, comfort and encouragement. May they brighten the children’s days during the Easter Holiday.

Had an amazing 👏 time at the Ribbon 🎀 cutting for the new Moxy Allentown. What an exciting moment for Allentown and the Lehigh Valley, the opening of the first and only Moxy in Pennsylvania. Allentown has moxy and now Allentown has THE Moxy.

We were excited to have 69 news and Arcadia Land Company use our hotel to discuss the proposed 130 acre mixed use community called Promenade Park. Promenade Park would offer commercial and medical office space, residential homes and apartments, dog park, waterfront park with amphitheater, farmers market green, nature trail, and fishing pier, creating a walkable town center 1 mile from us. Even better it would connect Stabler Pathways, where we are, to Promenade Park and the shops, providing walkability back and forth for our guests!

He presented his plan to Upper Saucon Township Monday night.

Sad to see the holidays come to an end and these gingerbread houses come down. However excited for 2025 and the opportunities to come. Hope that everyone had a joyful holiday season full of light and warmth. And even though the gingerbread houses are coming down, we still have the spirit in this actual Marriott house. Cheers to 2025 to everyone!
