You may have seen a recent ABC 4 story with our farm and the drought. There are 2 things that we really want people to know
1. How can you conserve water? Whether you share the same water source as us or not, what can you do? Shorter showers, when you need to let the water run to change temperature, capture that water to use on your trees, garden, flowers, ect.
2. We didn’t do the story to cause panic or for pitty, but rather to make people aware of the reality of this drought, but even though times are tough, there is always something positive. This year when you pick out your pumpkin, whether it’s in a grocery store, farmers market or you grew your own, that pumpkin is a symbol that you can survive hard things. We can’t always control things, in our case the weather, but we can choose how we react and choosing to look for the good, makes tough times a little easier.
We hope to see you at our farmers market in just a few short weeks. And while we might not have abundant crops, we are doing our best!
