This is one way horrible people steal from the elderly…it’s easy and obvious
However, there are not so obvious and even more devastating 🥹
Here’s my list:(no particular order)
1. Stealing their joy by isolation
2. Stealing their happiness by ignoring their basic needs ( clean house, home repairs etc)
3. Stealing their health by not having hard conversations and leaving them in homes that literally can kill them
4. Stealing their confidence by not delivering good information and leaving them to feel like they have no options…
I can go on and on but I won’t. If you don’t get the picture you won’t.
Yet this is exactly why I’ve had this placed on my heart
This is exactly why I’ve been given literally hundreds of situations to gain the experience that distinctly qualifies me to expertly assist seniors and their families
This is why I am committed to building this business to assist seniors resolve ALL their issues with …
“The House and Everything Else”.
Literally, everything else 🤩

Grand Jury Indicts Former Nursing Home Aide for Theft from Elderly Resident
Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports that a comprehensive criminal investigation has resulted in a Grand Jury Indictment against a 19-year-old former nursing home aide who stole a significant sum of money from an elderly resident under her care.
The Butler County Sheriff’s Office received an initial report indicating that approximately $23,000 had been fraudulently withdrawn from the bank account of a resident at Woodland Country Manor Nursing Home, located in Oxford, Ohio.
Detectives immediately initiated a detailed investigation, which included a thorough review of bank records, online delivery services, and shopping platforms. The financial trail ultimately led investigators to identify Aaleagh Hoop, age 19, currently of Greenville, Ohio, as the primary suspect.
Detectives made contact with Ms. Hoop, who admitted to the theft during a formal interview. The case was subsequently presented to a Butler County Grand Jury, which returned a direct indictment on the following felony charges:
• Theft from a Protected Class (Elderly Victim) – Felony of the 3rd Degree
• Misuse of a Credit Card – Felony of the 3rd Degree
With the assistance of the Greenville Police Department, Ms. Hoop was located and arrested in Darke County without incident. She is currently in custody awaiting further court proceedings.
“Stealing is wrong under any circumstances — but stealing from the elderly is particularly vile. It is a complete betrayal of trust, and those who target our most vulnerable citizens will be held fully accountable,” states Sheriff Jones.
This case serves as a stark reminder of the seriousness with which the Butler County Sheriff’s Office investigates crimes against the elderly and the commitment to ensuring justice is served.
