One of my favorite parts of speaking is reconnecting with people I've had the privilege of working with over the years.

At the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association (MDLA) Women in the Law Breakfast, it was especially meaningful to reconnect with Kelly Sofio and Jana Sullivan. Seeing familiar faces in the audience is a wonderful reminder that the relationships we build often continue long after an engagement ends.

It was a pleasure sharing ideas on productivity, engagement, and creating workplaces where people can thrive, while also catching up with former clients along the way.

One of the best parts of Influence is celebrating the people who make our profession so special.

This year, I had the opportunity to join in recognizing fellow speakers who have earned the CSP® designation. Congratulations to Nan Gesche, MA, CSP®, Gaelin Elmore CSP®, and Kelly Jahner-Byrne, CSP® on this well-deserved achievement.

Earning a CSP doesn't happen overnight. It reflects years of serving audiences, building trust with clients, honing your craft, and staying committed to excellence.

As a CSP®, I know the dedication behind that journey, which makes these moments of recognition even more meaningful.

Honored to have been invited to speak at the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association (MDLA) Women in the Law Breakfast.

The Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association (MDLA) is an association dedicated to serving the needs of lawyers engaging primarily in the defense and trial of civil disputes.

Many professionals today are challenged with competing priorities, increasing demands, and packed schedules. During the session, I shared insights from Work Smart Do More focused on making intentional choices with our time, energy, and attention to create greater impact both professionally and personally.

Serving on the Board of the National Speakers Association-Minnesota Chapter (NSA-MN) has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my professional career.

At this year's annual gala, I was honored to be recognized as I concluded my board service. Working alongside so many talented speakers and thought leaders has reinforced what I love most about this profession: helping others grow, learn, and make a greater impact.

Leadership is rarely about recognition. It's about showing up, contributing, and helping elevate an industry and community you care deeply about.

I'm grateful for the friendships, lessons, and opportunities that came from serving on the board, and for the chance to contribute to an organization that plays such an important role in supporting professional speakers and fostering excellence in our industry.

Thank you, NSA Minnesota, for the opportunity to serve. I'm excited to continue supporting the speaking profession in new ways.

It was an honor to attend the National Speakers Association Minnesota - NSA MN Annual Gala and to reflect on my time serving on the board over the past two years. Being part of this incredible community of professional speakers has been a truly meaningful experience, and I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute, collaborate, and support its mission alongside such talented and dedicated communicators.

Surrounded by speakers who are committed to mastering their craft, sharing powerful ideas, and creating real impact on audiences everywhere, I’ve had the privilege of learning and growing in so many ways. The level of passion, generosity, and excellence within this community is truly inspiring.
